Ms. Berkheimer’s practice areas include business and real estate transactions, trademark law, land use and development, and municipal law.

Ms. Berkheimer earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. She moved to San Diego in 2006, earned her Paralegal Certificate from the University of San Diego, and worked as a Paralegal for several years before attending law school. Ms. Berkheimer graduated from California Western School of Law with her Juris Doctorate and received honors recognition in her area of concentration, Business Law and Practice. In 2019, Ms. Berkheimer earned her LL.M. in taxation with a concentration in international tax from Georgetown University Law Center.

Ms. Berkheimer is an active alumna and member of the California State Bar, and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of California and before the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. Ms. Berkheimer is passionate about serving her community and has volunteered with the Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic assisting taxpayers in tax controversy matters before the Internal Revenue Service.
